Baptism at Good Shepherd

“...be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. This promise is for you and for your children…” - Acts 2:38-39

At Good Shepherd we baptize all ages, from infants to elderly. All of us, regardless of age, are in need of a relationship with God and are unable to establish one without God's help. Baptism is the means by which God mysteriously and yet obviously connects us to the forgiveness of Jesus and gives us a new identity as one of God's children. Your spiritual life with Jesus, young or old, begins in your baptism.

If you or someone you love needs to be baptized, please there are two ways to proceed. You can contact Pastor Sparling who will help you move in that direction, or you may attend our "Baptism and New Life" class which is held several times throughout the year. Then you will have the opportunity to begin planning your or your loved one’s baptismal celebration.
